To truly experience the beauty of nature, sometimes you have to put in a little effort.
For me, that meant putting on my hiking boots and climbing to the summit of the Zaganu peak in the Ciucas mountains of Romania.
After a night spent camping at the base of the mountain, I set out with my camera in hand, eager to see what the summit had in store. As I climbed higher and higher, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement building inside me. I knew I was close just as I neared the top.
I ventured off the main path, and what I found took my breath away. An entire field of edelweiss flowers stretched out before me, reaching to the edge of a cliff. I couldn’t believe my luck. I spent hours, lost in the wonder of it all, capturing the beauty of these rare and precious flowers through my lens.
It was an experience I’ll never forget, and one that I’m eager to share with you.
